The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 34,377,592 cases, followed by India with 29,762,793 cases, Brazil with 17,704,041, France with 5,749,691, Turkey with 5,354,153 cases, Russia with 5,264,047 cases, the United Kingdom with 4,600,623 cases, and Italy with 4,249,755 cases.

Over 162,716,762 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
