Construction cost index rises by 35.48% in Turkey
In April 2021, the construction cost index (CCI) increased by 3.54% compared with the previous month and increased by 35.48% compared with the same month of the previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute said.
The material index increased by 4.89% and the labor index increases by 0.53% compared with the previous month. Also, the material index increased by 43.07%, and the labor index increased by 20.62% compared with the previous year.
The building construction cost index increased by 34.63% annually and 3.61% monthly
The building construction cost index increased by 3.61% compared with the previous month and increased by 34.63% compared with the same month of the previous year. The material index increased by 5.02% and the labor index increased by 0.56% compared with the previous month. Also, the material index increased by 41.77%, and the labor index increased by 20.92% compared with the previous year.
