Global coronavirus death toll reaches 3,717,698
At least 172,924,672 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 611,611 deaths, followed by Brazil with 469,784 deaths, India with 340,719 deaths, and Mexico with 228,362 deaths.
At least 155,648,104 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
