According to local sources, police officers kidnaped 17-year-old Nayef Obeid from a street as he was walking to a grocery store in Obeid neighborhood in Issawiya and took him to the Moskobiya detention center.

There was no information if he was released later.

The teenager suffered a rubber bullet injury in his thigh 10 days ago during a renewed round of police provocations in the holy city.

Police forces broke into and ransacked the teenager’s house and kidnaped his father Wasim before releasing him later on the condition of not leaving home for five days.

Another citizen identified as Sameer Obeid, the father of martyr Mohamed Obeid, was also kidnaped by police forces following a raid on his home in Issawiya. He also received a five-day house arrest order before releasing him. (ILKHA)
