A 7.4 magnitude earthquake hits northwestern China
The magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck the Qinghai province in northwestern China on Friday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was the Madoi district at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
Although no fatalities have so far been reported, the local government said that some buildings were destroyed. (ILKHA)
