Global coronavirus death toll reaches 3,359,153
About 161,2 million people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 598,540deaths, followed by Brazil with 430,596 deaths, India with 262,350 deaths, and Mexico with 219,901 deaths.
At least 139,691,569 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
