Leader of Hizbullah Jama’ah Edip Gümüş issues a message on Eid Al Fitr
The head of Hizbullah Jama’ah Edip Gümüş issued a written message on Eid Al Fitr, wishing that Eid Al Fitr will bring joy, welfare and good to the Islamic Ummah.
At the beginning of his message, Gümüş quoted an ayah from Holy Qur’an that says: “Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.” (Surah An-Nisa 36)
Stating that efforts should be made to maintain the beautiful behaviors obtained during Ramadan, especially recitation of Quran, lecture and conversation rings created in these days, when people sheltered in houses to prevent the epidemic, Gümüş said: “Thus, these troubled days will be transformed into opportunity and good.”
Because of the epidemic, as is the case all over the world, as a precaution, most of our people were forced to close their homes. I extend my congratulations and thanks to my brothers who showed extraordinary solidarity by taking serious risks in this troubled process, who continued their work without interruption with dedication, and who provided material and moral support. May My Lord preserve them all and increase their reward.
Pointing out the negative picture of the Ummah, Gümüş emphasized that Islamic administrators, members of the Islamic organization and all Muslims should think seriously about the reasons for the current calamities.
The biggest problem of the Ummah and the most important reason for both the material and spiritual troubles it is experiencing is the confusion, strife, and disorganization it is in. In this respect, the most urgent solution to the problems that we have been experiencing is to establish the unity of Muslims and the law of brotherhood among us again. For this reason, we talk about unity and brotherhood with every means and insistence.
We remind all Muslims, especially the administrators who have Islamic sensitivity: Our Lord has made us brothers. We have no choice but to fulfill the necessity of this and to establish unity. Therefore, the administrators of all Islamic organizations should act with this awareness and take the lead in taking steps in this direction.
At the end of his message, Gümüş once again congratulated Muslims on Ramadan and prayed to for those who had been away from their family and friends due to emigration, captivity or illness would spend the following holidays with their loved ones. (ILKHA)
