The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 33,230,561 cases, followed by India with 20,282,833 cases, Brazil with 14,791,434, France with 5,656,007, Turkey with 4,900,121 cases, Russia with 4,831,744 cases, the United Kingdom with 4,421,850 cases, and Italy with 4,050,708 cases.

A total of 131,619,062 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
