Tanker fire kills 9, injures 14 in Afghanistan
At least 9 people were killed and 14 others injured when a searing blaze roared through at least 50 fuel tankers on the northern edge of the Afghan capital of Kabul, the Interior Ministry said on Sunday.
The fire downed electricity lines, leaving much of the capital completely without electricity.
The fire also damaged several homes and shops in the area, local sources reported.
After firefighters extinguished the fire, an investigation has been launched to determine the origin and cause of the fire. (ILKHA)
