Erdoğan replaces trade minister, appoints two new ministers
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appointed former group deputy chairman of ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), Mehmet Muş as the country’s new trade minister, according to a presidential decree issued on the Official Gazette.
Former minister Ruhsar Pekcan was removed from the post, the decree said, without providing a reason for the change or any further details.
At the same time, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services has also been split in two as former minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk left the office.
Vedat Bilgin was appointed as the Minister of Labor and Social Security while Derya Yanık was appointed as the Minister of Labor and Social Security. (ILKHA)
