The number of confirmed cases rose to 4,323,596, after 55,149 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

While at least 3,319 patients are in critical condition, 3,736,537 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 44,087,628 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
