Islamic Scholars in Jerusalem urge Muslims to intensify their presence at Aqsa
The Higher Islamic Commission and the Council of Muslim Scholars and Preachers in Jerusalem has urged Muslim worshipers to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque in the holy month of Ramadan.
In a joint statement, the Jerusalemite institutions stressed that the entire Aqsa Mosque, with its premises, paths, and courtyards, are places for the performance of acts of worship, prayers, Qur’an recitation, and seclusion.
They also urged the Muslim nation to make the holy month an occasion to end all conflicts and estrangements, describing it as “the month of unity, tolerance, and love.” (ILKHA)
