Global coronavirus death toll rises to 2,887,039
At least 133,051,972 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 570,260 deaths, followed by Brazil with 337,364 deaths, Mexico with 205,002 deaths, and India with 166,208 deaths.
At least 107,301,408 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
