The attempts to tune politics and the political establishments through illegitimate ways and methods using midnight declaration which is implicitly calling for a military coup are never acceptable. But it should be known that the retired admirals are not alone in this conspiracy. 104 retired admirals cannot be said to have come together by chance and prepared this text. Therefore, the powers behind this attempt should also be uncovered.”

“Necessary steps should be taken to prevent the coup attempts in the country”

Emphasizing that coup-makers have not been punished in an exemplary manner in Turkey until now, Sağlam went on to say: “If coup makers had been punished in an exemplary manner, the military coups would not have become a tradition in Turkey. The necessary steps should be taken immediately, especially to change the current junta Constitution.
