Global coronavirus death toll rises to 2,860,560
At least 131,437,463 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 568,513 deaths, followed by Brazil with 330,297 deaths, Mexico with 204,011 deaths, and India with 164,655 deaths.
At least 105,852,216 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
