Hundreds of zionist settlers defile Al-Aqsa courtyards
Hundreds of zionist settlers stormed on Wednesday the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under police protection.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied Jerusalem reported in a brief statement that 309 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa courtyards in the morning hours.
Zionist settlers began storming Al-Aqsa from the Maghareba Gate and carried out provocative tours in the Mosque’s courtyards before they left from al-Silsila Gate, according to the Endowments Department.
It is expected that more settlers will storm the Mosque after al-Duhr (noon) prayer.
Groups of settlers have called for mass desecration of the holy Islamic site as part of celebrations of the so-called Jewish Passover, which started on Sunday.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing daily, except on Fridays and Saturdays, incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police in two shifts in the morning and evening. (ILKHA)
