Global coronavirus death toll rises to 2,790,280
At least 127,321,712 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 562,013 deaths, followed by Brazil with 310,694 deaths, Mexico with 201,429 deaths, and India with 161,586 deaths.
At least 102,601,873 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
