HAMAS offers condolences to Egypt over train victims
Head of HAMAS’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has offered his heartfelt condolences to Egyptian president Abdul-Fattah as-Sisi for the tragic loss of life from Friday’s train collision in Sohag province.
“We, in Hamas, have received with great sadness and pain the news about the collision of two trains in Sohag city, which rendered many citizens dead or injured,” Haneyya said in a letter sent to the Egyptian president on Saturday.
Haneyya conveyed his Movement’s solidarity with Egypt in this ordeal and its deep sympathy with the bereaved families, asking Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the victims and wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded. (ILKHA)
