Iraq cancels entry visas for citizens of 37 countries
The Iraqi government has canceled the need to obtain entry visas for citizens of 37 states in an effort to improve the investment climate and develop the tourism sector in the country.
“The government’s decision is aimed at stimulating investment and reviving foreign tourism in Iraq,” said a spokesman for the Interior Ministry.
The businessmen and representatives of companies from the states that are included in the list approved by the cabinet can pay an entry fee at the Iraqi border in the amount of $ 75 and stay in the country for two months.
The mentioned list includes the countries the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, EU members, Canada, Japan, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, and Switzerland. (ILKHA)
