Global coronavirus death toll rises to 2,692,995
At least 121,838,366 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 550,649 deaths, followed by Brazil with 285,136 deaths, Mexico with 195,908 deaths, and India with 159,250 deaths.
At least 98,215,419 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
