Global coronavirus death toll rises to 2,613,822
At least 117,827,692 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 538,628 deaths, followed by Brazil with 266,614 deaths, Mexico with 190,923 deaths, and India with 157,966 deaths.
At least 93,510,108 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
