Global coronavirus death toll rises to 2,583,349
At least 116,307,462 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 533,636 deaths, followed by Brazil with 261,188 deaths, Mexico with 188,866 deaths, and India with 157,584 deaths.
At least 91,960,954 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
