Zarif: Iran will immediately reverse nuclear actions when US lifts sanctions
Iran will immediately reverse actions in its nuclear programme when the US lifts sanctions, the country’s Foreign Ministry said on Twitter.
Zarif said that Iran’s actions were in response to violations of the accord by the United States.
“US acknowledged Pompeo's claims re Res. 2231 had no legal validity. We agree. In compliance w/ 2231: US unconditionally & effectively lift all sanctions imposed, re-imposed or re-labeled by Trump. We will then immediately reverse all remedial measures. Simple: #CommitActMeet,” Zarif tweeted.

On Thursday, the United States said it was ready to restart talks with Iran to revive a 2015 nuclear agreement. Therefore, it has reversed former President Donald Trump’s decision to walk out of the landmark deal that was aimed at preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
After a meeting with his European partners in order to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue, the Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed President Joe Biden’s position that Washington would return to the accord formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) if Tehran came into full compliance with the deal.
