Global coronavirus death toll reaches 2,442,742
At least 110,506,240 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 502,544 deaths, followed by Brazil with 242,178 deaths, Mexico with 177,061 deaths, and India with 156,038 deaths.
At least 85,404,402 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
