Heavy rains cause floods in France
Days of heavy rains have caused rivers across France to breach their banks, overwhelming roads, and villages.
The level of the River Garonne around Marmande is still very, although the red alert has been reduced to orange.
The river reached a height of 10.20 meters overnight from Wednesday into Thursday, a level not seen for 40 years, according to local officials.
