Global coronavirus death toll surpasses 2 million
At least 93,536,554 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus related fatalities with 397,994 deaths, followed by Brazil with 207,160 deaths, India with 151,954 deaths and Mexico with 137,916 deaths.
At least 66,835,146 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
