Boeing 737 airliner goes missing after take-off in Indonesia
There were 62 passengers and crew on board the plane which is “suspected crashed”, according to Indonesia's transport minister.
Indonesia’s aviation authorities said it lost contact with the plane after it took off from Jakarta, the capital.
The flight was en route from Jakarta to Pontianak in Indonesia.
Indonesian authorities have launched the rescue operation, which includes 11 navy ships and is set to continue throughout the night. (ILKHA)
