Global coronavirus death toll rises to 1,923,389
At least 89,422,294 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus related fatalities with 378,149 deaths, followed by Brazil with 201,542 deaths, India with 150,835 deaths and Mexico with 132,069 deaths.
At least 64,084,479 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
