The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 20,445,654 cases, followed by India with 10,286,709 cases, Brazil with 7,675,973 cases, Russia with 3,159,297 cases, France with 2,620,425, United Kingdom with 2,488,780 cases, Turkey with 2,208,652 cases and Italy with 2,107,166 cases.

A total 59,327,037 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
