Palestine reports 29 corona deaths, 1,268 new cases within 24 hours
The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported 29 new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus), and 1,268 new positive tests and 2,056 recoveries in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.

According to the ministry’s daily report, 14 of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank and 15 others from Gaza.
118 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 28 of them have been placed on ventilators.
85.5 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease, while the rate of active cases has reached 13.5 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.0 percent of the total cases, according to data updated today by the ministry. (ILKHA)
