HÜDA PAR express its support for Uighurs protest in front of Chinese consulate in Istanbul
Erdal Elibüyük, the Istanbul provincial head of HÜDA PAR, have visited Uighurs waiting in front of the Chinese consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, expressing his party’s support for their protest.
Today is the fifth-day that Uyghurs have been protesting in front of the Chinese consulate in Istanbul, urging China to release their loved ones from Concentration camps.
A delegation from the Istanbul provincial presidency of HÜDA PAR, which constantly expresses the persecution of Uighur Muslims, paid a support visit to the Uighurs who are waiting in front of the consulate.
Erdal Elibüyük, the Istanbul provincial head of HÜDA PAR, who listened to the problems and demands of East Turkestan Muslims during the visit, called on the authorities to remedy the problems experienced by Uighur Muslims.
State terror practices such as assimilation, interference in family life, violation of immunity of domicile, confiscation of houses and work places, and disturbance of the right to worship, which has been implemented by the Chinese state for many years against Uyghur Muslims, continues in full swing.
In classified documents which were shared with the public by a journalist recently, the Chinese President's statement saying that 'show No Mercy' was widely echoed in the World. Chinese government detains more than 1 million Muslims, or about 7% of the Muslim population in the Xinjiang region, in mass detention camps, named re-education camp, aimed at changing the political thinking of detainees, their identities, and their religious beliefs. Muslims are also subjected to physical and verbal abuse by prison guards.
Although violations have been documented by international organizations, no deterrent steps have so far been taken against China. (ILKHA)
