Zionist regime launches a campaign of raids, arrests in West Bank and Jerusalem
The zionist occupation forces (ZOF) launched on Thursday night and at dawn Friday a campaign of arrests and raids in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In Jenin, violent clashes broke out in Qabatiya town during which at least one Palestinian was injured.
Local sources reported that local youths opened fire at the ZOF soldiers and threw Molotov cocktails one of which hit a military vehicle and set it on fire.
ZOF arrested Ahmed Zakarneh and his nephew Taher Zakarneh after storming their homes, searching them and tampering with their contents.
ZOF raided Tura village in Jenin where measurements of the house of the detainee Muhammad Marwah Qebha were taken. He was accused of killing a female settler in the Rayhan forest on 12/20/2020. Also 3 citizens were arrested from Tura, on Thursday.
In Tulkarem, ZOF stormed Deir Al-Ghusoun town and arrested two Palestinians and searched several homes.
In Qalqilya, ZOF arrested Ibrahim Nizam Radwan after they raided and searched his house.
In Occupied Jerusalem, clashes erupted in the Al-Wad neighborhood and in the Old City between Palestinian youths and Israeli police, during which sound bombs were fired at the young men.
The Israeli police arrested Abdullah Najib, Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti and Murad Al-Tarhouni after brutally assaulting them on Al-Wad road.
Furthermore, the Israeli police arrested on Thursday a young Jerusalemite in front of the al-Asbat Gate area in the vicinity of the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the ZOF arrested two young men from Kfert village, southwest of Jenin, on Thursday evening.
Montaser Sammour, the director of the prisoner club in Jenin, stated that ZOF arrested Muhammad Iyad Turkman and Ahmed Khaled Ismail while they were passing through a military checkpoint near Ya’bad town and seized the vehicle they were traveling in. (ILKHA)
