Palestine reports 7 corona deaths, 1,704 new cases in the last 24 hours
The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported 17 new deaths associated with COVID-19, and 1,704 new positive tests and 2,291 recoveries in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report, eight of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem suburbs, and nine others from Gaza.
122 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals, and 29 of them have been placed on ventilators.
82.5 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease, while the rate of active cases has reached 16.6 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.9 percent of the total cases, according to data updated today by the ministry. (ILKHA)
