Palestine repots 31 corona deaths, 2,110 new cases within 24 hours
Mai Al-Kailah, the Palestinian Minister of Health, announced on Wednesday that 31 deaths, 2,110 new cases of the coronavirus and 1,823 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new deaths were recorded as follows: Nablus 1, Qalqilya 1, Bethlehem 1, Jenin 3, Tulkarem 1, al-Khalil 9, Gaza Strip 12, and Jerusalem 3, while 6,367 examinations were conducted.
She said that new infections were distributed according to the following: Nablus 163, Qalqilya 31, Salfit 33, Tubas 20, Bethlehem 85, Jenin 139, Tulkarem 81, Jericho 18, al-Khalil 156, Ramallah 189, the Gaza Strip 867, Jerusalem 240, and the suburbs of Jerusalem 88.
The new recoveries were recorded as follows: Nablus 105, Qalqilya 49, Tubas 37, Salfit 37, Jenin 128, Tulkarem 114, Jericho 17, al-Khalil 240, Ramallah 280, Gaza Strip 580, and Jerusalem 236, Kailah added.
The minister noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 81.9 percent while the rate of active infections reached 17.2 percent, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 119 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 29 who have been placed on ventilators. (ILKHA)
