The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 18,684,628 cases, followed by India with 10,099,308 cases, Brazil with 7,320,020 cases, Russia with 2,933,753 cases, France with 2,490,946, United Kingdom with 2,110,314 cases, Turkey with 2,062,960 cases and Italy with 1,977,370 cases.

A total 55,187,567 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
