The number of coronavirus infections surpasses 77,2 million worldwide
At least 1,699,644 people have so far lost their lives due to coronavirus pandemic around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 18,267,579 cases, followed by India with 10,056,248 cases, Brazil with 7,238,600 cases, Russia with 2,848,377 cases, France with 2,473,354, United Kingdom with 2,040,147 cases, Turkey with 2,024,601 cases and Italy with 1,953,185 cases.
A total 54,089,680 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
