Global coronavirus death toll reaches 1,682,482
At least 76,081,705 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus related fatalities with 320,845 deaths, followed by Brazil with 185,687 deaths, India with 145,178 deaths and Mexico with 117,249 deaths.
At least 53,341,192 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
