Kabul deputy governor killed in magnetic bomb attack
The deputy governor of Kabul province, Mahbubullah Mohibi, and his assistant were killed in a bomb attack on Tuesday morning, said Tariq Arian, Afghan interior ministry spokesman.

A magnetic bomb attached to a vehicle belonging to Kabul’s deputy provincial governor killed two people, and injured two others.
“Sadly, the deputy governor and secretary of Kabul were martyred and two of his bodyguards were injured in the attack,” the spokesman said.
Deputy Governor Mahboobullah Mohibi was travelling with his secretary and security guards when the explosion took place in the Macrorayan neighborhood of the capital.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
Since 2001 when the United States invaded Afghanistan, over 100,000 people have been killed in the war, including more than 4,000 ISAF soldiers and civilian contractors, more than 62,000 Afghan national security forces, 31,000 civilians and even more Taliban members. (ILKHA)
