A 4.7 magnitude earthquake hits eastern Turkey
The 4.7 quake hit the Tuşba district of Van province on Tuesday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 00:58 a.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.9011 degrees north and a longitude of 43.4876 degrees east, and at a depth of 9.20 km.
The earthquake was felt in the nearby provinces, including Hakkari, Bitlis, Ağrı, Muş and Siirt.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. (ILKHA)
