The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 16,737,267 cases, followed by India with 9,884,716               cases, Brazil with 6,901,990 cases, Russia with 2,653,928 cases, France with 2,376,852, United Kingdom with 1,849,403 cases, Italy with 1,843,712 cases and Turkey with 1,836,728 cases.

A total 50,865,504 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
