The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 16,039,393 cases, followed by India with 9,796,992 cases, Brazil with 6,783,543 cases, Russia with 2,569,126 cases, France with 2,337,966, United Kingdom with 1,787,783 cases, Italy with 1,787,147 cases and Turkey with 1,748,567 cases.
A total 49,148,966 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
