Global death toll from coronavirus pandemic reaches 1,534,747
At least 66,869,844 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus related fatalities with 287,825 deaths, followed by Brazil with 176,641 deaths, India with 140,216 deaths and Mexico with 109,456 deaths.
At least 46,250,547 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
