Palestine reports 19 coronavirus deaths, 2,738 new cases within 24 hours
The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported 19 new deaths associated with COVID-19, and 2,738 new positive tests and 1,469 recoveries in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.

According to the ministry’s daily report, 13 of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank, two from Jerusalem and four from Gaza.
74 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals, and 17 of them have been placed on ventilators.
76.1 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease, while the rate of active cases has reached 23.1 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.8 percent of the total cases, according to data updated today by the ministry. (ILKHA)
