Turkey’s National Security Council convenes under President Erdoğan’s chairmanship
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is chairing the meeting of the National Security Council at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting at the Presidential Complex began at 15: 25, according to Turkey's Directorate of Communications.
The National Security Council is the principal government agency used by the President of Turkey, who is the Commander-in-chief, for consideration of national security, military, and foreign policy matters with senior national security officials, and for coordinating these policies among various government agencies.
Like the national security councils of other countries, the MGK develops the national security policy. (ILKHA)
