45 kg of heroin seized in eastern Turkey
Turkish security forces have seized 45 kg of heroin in the Başkale district of Turkey’s eastern Van province, the governor office announced in a statement on Monday.

The anti-drug gendarmerie forces launched an anti-narcotics operation in the Esenyamaç neighborhood of the Başkale district, the statemen said.
The heroin was found when gendarmerie teams were searching a house belonging to the suspect, identified only by initials R.A., it noted.
The suspect was detained during the operation. (ILKHA)
