Retail sales volume rises by 7.8% on annual basis in Turkey
Retail sales volume with constant prices (2015=100) increased by 7.8% in September 2020 compared with the same month of previous year, Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Friday.
In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 9.2%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 9.0%, automotive fuel sales increased by 3.2%, according to the statement.

Retail sales volume with constant prices increased by 2.8% in September 2020 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 3.5%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 2.9%, automotive fuel sales increased by 1.6%.
Retail turnover increased by 20.7% on annual basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 20.7% in September 2020 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 22.1%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 25.8%, automotive fuel sales increased by 5.2%.
Retail turnover increased by 3.4% on monthly basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 3.4% in September 2020 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 3.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 4.8%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 0.4%. (ILKHA)
