Turkey’s industrial production increases by 8.1% annually
Industrial production has risen by 1.7% monthly and 8.1% annually in Turkey, the country’s statistical institute said in statement on Friday.
When the subsectors of the industry (based on 2015=100) were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 0.4%, manufacturing index increased by 8.5% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 8.6% in September 2020, compared with same month of previous year.

When the subsectors of the industry were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 3.2%, manufacturing index increased by 1.4% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 4.2% in September 2020, compared with previous month.
Industrial production increased by 7.7% compared with the same quarter of the previous year
In the third quarter of 2020, calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 7.7% compared with the same quarter of the previous year. The seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 30.3% compared with the previous quarter. (ILKHA)
