Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases rises to 40,657,071

The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 8,456,653 cases, followed by India with 7,597,063 cases, Brazil with 5,251,127 cases, Russia with 1,415,316 cases, Spain with 1,015,795 cases, Argentina with 1,002,662 cases, Colombia with 965,883 cases and France with 910,277 cases.
A total of 30,359,845 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
