Turkey: 136,744 houses were sold in September

According to the statement, for the house sales of September 2020, İstanbul had the highest share of house sales with 18.6% and 25,399 sold house. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 12,677 house sales and İzmir 8,153 house sales with the share of 9.3% and 6.0% respectively.

The least house sold provinces were Hakkari with 17 house sales, Ardahan with 24 house sales and Bayburt with 63 house sales.

The mortgaged house sales throughout Turkey became 35,576 by decreasing 38.5% compared to the same month of the previous year. House sales with mortgage had a 26.0% share of all house sales in Turkey.

İstanbul has the highest mortgage house sales in Turkey with 7,527 sales and with the share of 21.2%. The least other house sales were realized in Hakkari with 1 house sales.

Other house sales in Turkey became 101,168 by increasing 13.6% compared to the same month of the previous year.

In the other sales, İstanbul was the first province with 17,872 sales and 17.7% share. Other house sales had 70.4% share of all house sales in İstanbul. Ankara was the second province with 8,875 sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 5,745 sales. The least other house sales were realized in Hakkari with 16 house sales.

In house sales, 41,376 of houses were sold for the first time

First house sales in Turkey became 41,376 by decreasing 19.5% compared to the same month of the previous year. First house sales had 30.3% share of all house sales in Turkey.

Second hand house sales in Turkey became 95 thousand 368 by decreasing 0.1% compared to the same month of the previous year.

In the second-hand sales, İstanbul was the first province with 18,300 sales and 19.2% share. Share of the second-hand sales was 72.1% in İstanbul in total house sales. Ankara was the second province with 9,578 sales and Ankara was followed by İzmir with 5,887 sales.

Houses sales increased by 34.2% in January-September period

In the January-September period, a million 161,278 houses were sold and increased by 34.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the January-September period, sales of mortgaged houses were 508,690 and increased by 170.7%, and in other types of sales, it was 652,588 and decreased by 3.7%.

Houses sold for the first time in this period was 359,208 increasing by 6.6%. Second-hand house sales were 802,070 and also increased by 51.8%.

In January-September period, house sales to foreigners became 26 thousand 165 by decreasing 18.0% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Most house sales were made to Iran citizens according to country nationalities
