Humanitarian ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia comes into effect
The humanitarian ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan in their conflict over the enclave of Nagorno Karabakh came into effects.
The ceasefire started at noon on October 10, according to a document agreed upon by Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian foreign ministers in Moscow.
Bodies and prisoners will be exchanged during the ceasefire.
The negotiations will be spearheaded by the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe Minsk Group.
Heavy fighting between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces erupted in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region on September 27.
At least 300 people, including many civilians, have been reported killed in the fighting. (ILKHA)
